Certain skills are required so as to take advantage of your Life Opportunities and to enhance your overall success. Depending on your individual circumstances and goals, those skills can significantly vary in both skill identification and importance.
The skills offered by LifOpps are not all inclusive but rather identified skills needed by many Inquisitives.
These are the skills that can make your goals achievable, to help you eliminate your self doubt, and show your support team that you know how to be successful. None are hard to learn but do require you to commit to and practice them. The more you proactively practice, the quicker you will see the results.
Learning Labs
Learning Labs are setup to teach the skills but even more important, to do it in a memorably fun environment including having the lab participants begin practicing the skills. Over 75% of the lab time is devoted to the lab participants practicing communicating in a variety of ways. Those practices are patterned after normal life situations so the participants can relate to them and more easily remember and utilize their new skills after the lab is completed.
Those normal life situations are created by the participants themselves in a variety of role playing exercises. In many labs the participants are encouraged to identify challenges in their own lives that may make it difficult to embrace the new skills. Then they, along with other group members, will devise ways that the skills can work including how to surmount those identified challenges.
This format, while probably better in person, still works great in a remote Zoom format. Use of breakout rooms, keeping everyone's video on with the participate showing in the video, etc can still create a challenging environment that will foster real absorption of the skills. LifOpps focuses on the goal of having the participants really embrace the skills, thinking about them, practicing them and truly incorporating them into their everyday lives.
